2024 was a landmark year for UNPOP. For the first time, we ran the installation via 100% solar power instead of a gasoline generator, which not only increased the sustainability of the piece but also made its operation silent! UNPOP opened on Sunday, August 25, and began running each night with just a few technical snags interrupting our first nights. By Wednesday, we judged that we had the power capacity and enough protection from heat that we could run the piece 24 hours, so for the first time UNPOP played all day and night. As in 2022, we used an algorithm to generate a randomized playlist, ensuring that all pieces were played the same number of times while also ensuring that no piece was repeated too closely together.

UNPOP was open for 6 nights, 6:30pm to 7:00am, each night of the event in 2022, which was a really hot one! This year we did not make playlists, rather, we used a computer instead of the Tsunami to play back the audio files, and we decided to randomize the playlist process, with a few simple rules. We were unable to generate an exact list of each night's pieces, but below is the list of all pieces that were played in 2022. Most of these pieces would have played 3-4 times during the event.

UNPOP was open for 6 nights, 6:30pm to 7:00am, starting Monday, August 26 and ending Sunday, September 1, 2019. Three different programs of music were offered in the 8-channel system, each 6 hours and 15 minutes in length. The programs were repeated once each night to account for the full 12 hour, 30 minute running time. Program 1 was played on Monday and Thursday evenings, Program 2 on Tuesday and Friday, and Program 3 on Wednesday and Saturday. Therefore, each program was played in its entirety four times over the course of the week.

The music presented was composed by 57 different composers, mostly working in octophonic (8-channel) format, but also in 7.1, 5.1, quadraphonic (4-channel), and even stereo, all adapted to suit the 8-channel system. The complete sequence of each of the three programs is listed below.
